Nomad Mobile Guides is a team of people who love travel and obsess about creating the best experiences for mobile users.
Our core product is a software platform that enables travel publishers and marketers to rapidly deploy mobile travel applications without any programming. Customers can offer location-aware content integrated with maps and other travel features. Travelers can plan trips, discover new places, enhance their experience and share with others.
The Nomad Mobile Guides platform powers a growing series of apps for several US national parks, CVBs and books from travel publishers.
Nomad’s mission is twofold:

He founded and still leads NewCity, the parent company of Nomad Mobile Guides. David’s zeal for travel and his vision for a better guidebook experience led to the development and spinout of Nomad. As President, David develops partner relationships and oversees product strategy. |
Colin has more than 20 years leading innovative product development organizations. He is passionate about delivering quality products, providing unsurpassable customer support, building long-term business relationships and having fun while doing so. Colin is responsible for the day-to-day running of the company, and, when all else fails, he is the person to call; the buck stops at his desk. |

Nomad Mobile Guides was formed as a spinout from NewCity in March 2010. NewCity is a 16 year-old experience design firm specializing in websites, applications, and interactive campaigns, primarily for higher education and travel. The vision for Nomad arose as we saw the needs in the marketplace for a better travel guide experience and an easier way for our clients to go mobile.
